They say “money makes the World go round” and typically the kind of people who say that tend to also say things like “the best things in life are free”. There is an element of truth in both statements.
We all want a nice house, nice car, great job and to wear nice hopefully “age appropriate” clothing. We look at the magazines, watch the lives of infamous reality stars and think, they have great lives, primarily because they have money. In being completely honest, we know the absence of money can make life stressful, cause one to worry and also present the appearance of failure. In truth though, it is possible to live a full, free and empowered life with and without money. We put together some tips to help you do this.
Your thought life has a lot to do with how you feel. If you are constantly meditating on what you don’t have, worrying about your next bill or what you would do if you had money, it will be difficult to feel empowered or creative. Why not try and focus on the blessings you do have. For instance, if you’re reading this article, we are very pleased and encourage you to join the community also, but it also means that you have a phone, or a laptop and most certainly the internet. That’s a blessing! We encourage you focus on all the little things that you have and think positively about what you don’t have. In doing so, its a great way to start feeling empowered.
Belonging to a Community always helps because its a case of transferred energy. You will feel empowered when you’re around other empowered women. Join us on Facebook and other like minded groups. Most social networks are free and gives you an opportunity to engage with others. You’ll also hear about free events and groups you can attend to widen your social circle. Having friends always helps us to live an empowered life.
Now, I know that you’re thinking dressing right costs money, but not always. You don’t have to wear the latest of everything. You can put together a great ensemble and not break the bank. (We have some more posts coming up on this topic shortly). Dressing confidently will make you feel empowered. If you’re sitting at home all day everyday in your dressing gown, it will take its toll on your self esteem. Getting up and looking ready will eventually help you to feel ready.
We hope that you have found this article helpful. Do share it with your friends and let us know what makes you feel empowered.
